At that time I was reading Frank Miller's graphic novel about The Dark Knight and I remember being fascinated by the way his costume was portrayed. The folds, the texture and even the design itself make the overall look believable, as if a real person could actually make it and wear it. That is what inspired my model, on which I focused especially on the costume and on the texture of its fabrics.
Joker, whose feet are the only visible part, came in a second moment. Once I finished the model of Batman, I wanted to present it not just as a character standing in an empty scene, but as an as part of a composition that could be interesting to explore, hinting at a possible story around the DC character.
